  1. Level 0: No autonomy

  2. Level 1: Robot assistance

  3. Level 2: Task autonomy

  4. Level 3: Conditional autonomy

  5. Level 4: High autonomy

  6. Level 5: Full autonomy


Level 3 “conditional autonomy”, is the highest level of autonomy of surgical robotics with the current technology.
